Antique Victorian Merry Wives of Windsor Book by William Shakespeare. This is a fabulous pocket size edition of Shakespeare's Merry Wives of Windsor play dating to circa 1890. This is a really beautiful edition leather bound in classic brick red with the name of the play in gold. There is an illustration plate in the front and a wonderfully decorative title page (as pictured). This would make a wonderful gift or addition to your antique and vintage collection. The book is inscribed Frank Gardner 1899 and the previous owner has added pencil notes to the text. There is some slight water damage, overall good condition.
