Vintage 1930s Square Powder Compact. A very sweet vintage powder compact, dating to circa 1949. This is a wonderful square, compact in Gold-tone metal, decorated with an engine turned design and featuring a black cartouch to the lid. The compact is designed to take lose powder and it has an internal door and a mirror inside the lid. This is a great vintage powder compact, perfect for display or use. The vintage powder compact measures approx 4 inches / 10 cm across. This delightful vintage powder compact has no powder puff or guard and rubbing to the Gold-tone finish, it is fully useable and has no other flaws or damage, good - fair condition
