Vintage 1940s Mabel Lucie Attwell Bathroom Sign. A fantastic example of the classic Mabel Lucie Attwell bathroom sign, dating to circa 1948. The sign features a charming illustration of a little boy in his bathroom, so typical of Mabel Lucie Attwell and a witty verse. Please rembember - Don't forget never leave the bathroom wet. Nor leave the soap still in the water. That's a thing we never ought'er. Nor leave the towels about the floor, Nor keep the bath an hour or more. When other folks are wanting one - please don't forget it isn't done! This sweet vintage sign has a cord on the back for you to hang it on the wall and it's a great display piece for your vintage inspired bathroom. Please note that this is and original vintage signs and NOT a reproduction. The sign is marked on the back: Valette wipeable serise by Valantine & Sons. The vintage sign measures approx 8 inches / 20 cm wide and 12 inches / 30 cm tall. This delightful vintage sign has some light rusting to the bottom edge, but no other flaws or damage, fair-good condition.
