Recycled Vintage First Prize Vegetables Handbag. This is a very cool recycled vintage handbag dating to circa 1969. Now, usually the word 'decoupage' conjures up images of dated fat cherubs and faux Victoriana, however, but, this vintage clutch bag has given a whole new meaning to the word, this vintage bag was fading fast until a kind recycler came along and gave it a new lease of life. The vintage handbag has been covered with some wonderfully kitsch images from a Fifties magazine, including a prize giving ceremony for a vegetable growing competition and a magnificent raspberry pie. The worn out handle of the vintage handbag has been replaced with a new one made from a vintage tie. The body of the vintage bag has been sealed with flexible plastic based matt varnish and so this fab bag's ready to give you years of service. The vintage bag retains it's original brown cotton lined interior, which is immaculate. This is a divine vintage bag, lovingly recycled, it's a truly unique piece, so it's the perfect addition to your (environmentally friendly) vintage chic wardrobe or clothing collection. The vintage clutch bag measures approx 10 inches / 25 cm across, 3 inches / 7.5 cm deep and 7 inches / 17.5 cm tall, plus the handle height of 8 inches / 20 cm. The vintage bag has light signs of cosmetic wear, but, is newly refurbished, very good condition.
