Vintage 1930s Brown Gathered Crepe Handbag. This is a really wonderful little vintage handbag, dating to circa 1930. This charming handbag has a Brown Crepe fabric body, which has been gathered on the front to create a wave style design. The vintage handbag has Black cord top mounted handle, it fastens with a press fastener and features a lovely Art Deco Round spiral decoration to the front. This wonderful vintage Art Deco handbag is lined in Lilac fabric, with a small open pocket and an attached coin purse, with kiss clasp. This is a fantastic vintage handbag, adding instant vintage elegance to any outfit, so it's the perfect addition to your retro or vintage inspired wardrobe or clothing collection. The vintage handbag measures approx 7 inches / 17.5 cm across and tall (excluding the handle, which adds a further 3 inches / 7.5 cm to the height). The handbag has rust marks around the frame of the coin purse inside and a couple of small points of wear to the fabric on the corners of the bag, however, the bag retains all its vintage charm and is fully useable, clean inside and out, with no other flaws or damage, good condition.
