Vintage 1930s French Art Deco Embroidered Clutch Evening Bag. This is a fabulous vintage evening bag, dating to circa 1930. This charming vintage evening bag has a stiffened tan Faille fabric body, with fabulous Art Deco chain stitch embroidery front and back. This is a lovely vintage evening bag, lined Tan fabric, with two small open gathered pockets, one of which still houses the original attached mirror. The bag has its cloth makers label, which reads: Metro Bag Works, Paris, Made in France, New York. This is such a beautiful evening bag, that will add instant vintage charm to any outfit and it's unique, so no one else will have the same, making it the perfect addition to your vintage or antique wadrobe or handbag collection! The evening bag is perfect for your essentials, it will take a small purse, phone, keys and lipstick easily, the bag measures approx 8 inches / 20 cm across and 5 inches / 12.5 cm tall. This divine vintage evening bag has a couple of small areas of darkening to the Faille and the silvering on the mirror is very worn, however, this wonderful vintage bag remains fully useable, very clean inside and out, with no other flaws or damage, very good condition.
