Vintage 1940s Silver Glitter Evening Bag. A beautiful English vintage evening bag, dating to circa 1947. This evening bag is a lovely example of the bags produced at this time, it has a stiffened, box-like body, covered with Glitter fabric with matching handles, Gold-tone metal mounts, a hidden frame and stone set kiss clasp. The evening bag is lined in pale Grey fabric. This is such a beautiful evening bag, that will add vintage charm to any outfit and it's unique, and no one else will have the same, making it the perfect addition to your vintage wardrobe or handbag collection! The evening bag measures approx 8 inches / 20 cm across, 6 inches / 15 cm tall (plus 5 inches / 12.5 cm for the handle height).
