Antique 1920s French Tapestry and Milk Glass Beaded Evening Bag. This is a very sweet little English antique tapestry fabric evening bag, dating to circa 1925. This lovely little evening bag has a tapestry body, featuring scrolls and a bouquet of flowers on a Cream background. The tapestry is surrounded by panels totally covered in tiny Milk glass (White glass) Mercury glass beads. The evening bag has a short metal chain finger loop and frame, which fastens with a kiss clasp, which features a pair of Celluloid faux Ivory finial. Inside the evening bag is lined in Cream cotton, with a small open pocket and a label which reads: made in France. The bag measures approx 8 inches / 20 cm across and 6 inches / 15 cm tall plus 2 inches / 5 cm finger loop height. This antique evening bag is a very pretty bag that'll add a touch of antique charm to any outfit, so it's the perfect addition to your antique or vintage wardrobe or bag collection.
