Vintage 1960s Designer Sarmi Grey Evening Dress. This is a charming vintage designer sample evening dress, produced by Sarmi of New York and it dates to circa 1967. This is a fabulous vintage full length empire line evening dress in grey cotton voile. The vintage evening dress has a deep V-neckline, fitted bodice, long unlined voile sleeves, with button cuffs, black lace and satin ribbon detailing to the neckline, under bust and hem and a long skirt, which flares gently from under the bust. The vintage dress is fully lined, it has a faux belt under the bust, a rear concealed zipper and cloth label which reads: Designed by Sarmi, New York. This is a fabulous vintage designer sample dress which is a perfect addition to your vintage inspired wardrobe. The vintage evening dress has three flaws to the voile sleeves, one sleeve has a 5 inch / 12.5 tear and the other has fraying to the cuff and a small split in the seam where the sleeve meet the dress. The sleeves could be removed or shortened to deal with these issues and the dress has no other flaws or damage, fair condition.
