Vintage 1960s Ladies Designer Andre Peters Pink & Cream Suit. This suit is an absolute design classic and dates to circa 1967. This two piece suit dating from the 1960s is made from Pale Pinkand Cream fine wool and comprises a dress and jacket. The jacket is a short, box style jacket, with a clasic fold-over collar, designed to be worn open, or fastened at the collar with a hook and eye fastening and full length sleeves. The jacket is, like the dress in Pale Pink very fine wool, with Cream wool edging. The dress has a lightly fitted bodice, a round neckline, no sleeves and slightly A-line skirt. The shape is both flattering and practical. Wear the suit with some killer heals, and finish the look with big sunglasses and you'l look the business - think Faye Dunaway in the Thomas Crown Affaire! Both pieces of this suit ouze quality that you'd expect from an Andre Peters outfit and are fully lined and carry the cloth makers label, which reads: Andre Peters, London England. This is a fabulous chance to invest in a genuine design classic and would make a wonderful addition to your vintage wardrobe or clothing collection. This fabulous vintage outfit has two tiny, pin head sided faint marks to the bodice of the dess, but, you need to look really closely to see them and they do not distract from this splendid suit. The vintage designer dress and jacket have no other flaws or damage, very good condition.
