Antique Victorian Hand Painted Paper Mache Lidded Jar. This is a charming Victorian jar made from paper mache. This may sound a little flimsy but the technique of extremely thick compacted paper and varnish produces a material that feels in texture and weight like a light wood. This jar is lidded and has been hand painted with colourful flowers. Use as an ornament or as somewhere handy to keep your keys! This would make a wonderful addition to your vintage home or collection. The jar is about the same size as a jam jar and measures approx 5 inches / 12.5 cm tall. The jar has some wear conducive to age but no damage, good condition.
