Recycled Antique Let Us Be Sweethearts Box. This is a very cool antique wooden box dating to circa 1890. Usually the word decoupage conjures up images of dated fat cherubs and faux Victoriana, however, but, this box has given a whole new meaning to the word, this vintage box was fading fast until a kind recycler came along and gave it a new lease of life. The exterior has been coated in a vintage 1930s sheet music cover, which is titled 'Let Us Be Sweethearts' and it features a couple kissing, it's roomy interior is lined in pieces of vintage sheet music. also dating from the 1930s. The box has been sealed with matt varnish and the bottom is covered with felt, to protect your surfaces from scratching, so it is ready for you to use to store all kinds of odds and ends. This is a divine antique box, lovingly recycled, it's perfect for storage and display in your vintage inspired home. The vintage box measures approx 9 inches / 22.5 cm across, 6.5 inches / 16.25 cm deep and 4 inches / 10 cm tall. The vintage box has light signs of cosmetic wear, but, is newly refurbished, very good condition.
