Vintage 1930s Hand Embroidered Tapestry Evening Bag. A beautiful vintage hand embroidered tapestry evening bag, dating to circa 1935. This is a charming vintage evening bag with a Gilt metal frame with enamel and French Jet (Black glass) bead detailing, kiss clasp and chain handle. The body of the bag is hand embroidered with very pretty flowers, on a Black background. This delightful vintage evening bag would make a wonderful addition to your antique and vintage evening bag collection. The bag is a good size and will hold all your essentials for an evening out, it measures approx 7 inches / 17.5 cm across and 6 inches / 15 cm tall (excluding the handle, which adds a further 6 inches / 15 cm to the height). This delightful vintage evening bag has a few pen marks to the lining and the handle is a later addition, the original bag was a clutch, it is fully usable with no other flaws or damage, good condition.
