Antique Victorian Gold Pince Nez Reading Glasses. A fantastic little pair of antique Victorian pince nez reading glasses, dating to circa 1870. These little glasses has gold metal frames, which are hall marked on the nose rest, although the hall marks are very worn. The glasses have a fantastic spring loaded pinch system, which holds them on the nose. The glasses also have a loop to attatch a chain or cord, so the could be worn around the neck, when not in use. The glasses come with their original metal case. The glasses measures approx 4 inches / 10 cm acros and 1 inch / 2.5 cm tall. The glasses look like they are missing a tiny retainer screw to one rim. No other flaws or damage, very good condition.
