Antique Edwardian Reversible Velvet Evening Opera Coat. A divine antique Edwardian opera or evening coat, dating to circa 1905. This is a sensational antique velvet evening or opera coat, in a long, carefully tailored sleek straight shape. The evening coat is in the softest velvet, with long sleeves and a wide ruched collar. The coat is reversible and can be worn with the black velvet or the pale green velvet side showing. The black side of the coat also has mutton leg sleeves, which are fitted along the lower arm and ballon out at the top. The collar has ruched velvet, with light green edging , when worn on the green side and black satin, with black velvet edging when worn on the black side of the coat. This is a wonderful antique evening coat that will add a touch of antique charm to any outfit and keep off the chill of cooler evenings, so it's the perfect addition to your antique or vintage chic wardrobe or clothing collection. The antique evening coat will fit ladies sized 6 - 10 UK, 2 - 6 USA and 34 -38 Europe and measures approx 48 inches / 120 cm long from shoulder to hem.
