Antique Victorian Hand Embroidered Petite Pointe Evening Bag. A beautiful antique hand embroidered petite point evening bag, dating to circa 1900. This charming antique evening bag has a hand embroidered body, in the tinyest stitching I have ever seen. The antique bag features Japanese flowers on a cream background, with black edging. The antique evening bag has an ornate silver tone metal frame, with pierced work floral design and coral and turquoise glass accents to the top of the frame. The antique evening bag has a kiss clasp and chain handle. This delightful antique evening bag will add instant antique style to any outfit, so it's a wonderful addition to your antique and vintage evening bag collection. The bag is a good size and will hold all your essntials for an evening out, it measures approx 7 inches / 17.5 cm across and tall (excluding the handle, which adds a further 6 inches / 15 cm to the height). There are only light signs of use, with a couple of tiny points of rubbing to the gold tone, and the lining has been replaced, there are no other flaws or damage, very good condition.
