Vintage 1930s Liberty Square Paisley Pattern Coronation Silk Scarf. A wonderful vintage ladies scarf, dating to circa 1936. This is a very cool silk scarf in royal blue, decorated with a red and cream paisley pattern, with hand rolled edges. The center of the scarf has a cream cartouch, which has the following inscription: Specialy printed for Mrs L. V. Gladwell in the year of the Coronation of King George VI. King George and Queen Elizabeth (the late Queen Mother) weere crowned in 1936. The scarf also has a cloth label to one corner, which reads: Libery, made in England. This vintage scarf is wonderful piece of fashion history. This is such a charming vintage scarf, that'll add a touch of vintage glamour to any outfit, so it's the perfect addition to your vintage chic wardrobe. The vintage scarf measures approx 24 inches / 60 cm wide. The vintage scarf has no flaws or damage, excellent condition.
