Vintage 1950s Ladies Pale Green Designer Jaeger Cardigan. A wonderful vintage ladies cardigan, produced by Jaeger and dating to circa 1955. A delightfully soft vintage classic ladies cardigan in pale green silk and cotton mix knit, with a fold over collar. This cardigan just oozes quality, with it's fold over collar, buttery soft body, mother of pearl shell buttons, with grosgrain backing and classic styling. Fifties fashions are very hot right now and this certainly fits the bill, so this sweet vintage cardi is just the thing for staying stylish and keeping warm as the temperature drops, so it's the perfect addition to your vintage or retro chic wardrobe or clothing collection. The cardigan has a cloth label, which reads: Jaeger, courtelle. The cardigan will fit most ladies size 10 - 14 UK, 6 - 10 USA and 38 - 42 Europe and it measures approx 18 inches / 45 cm across the chest and 22 inches / 55 cm long, when laid flat, unstretched. The cardigan shows a few tiny, pin head sized, faint rust marks to the collar, but, no other flaws or damage, very good condition.
