Large Vintage 1950s Box Wool Carpet Handbag. A fantastic vintage handbag, dating to circa 1957. This is a wonderful vintage handbag, in cream and brown wool fabric, with a stiffened box style body, with a fold out opening, which fastens with a strap and twist clasp. The handbag is a carpet bag, with faux leather accents and handle and it's lined in black fabric, with a small zipper pocket. This vintage handbag just oozes fifties style andit will add a touch of vintage style and sophistication to any outfit, so it's the perfect addition to your vintage chic wardrobe! The bag is a really good size for all your bits and pieces, especially if you like to carry every thing, including the kitchen sink, it's big! The vintage handbag measures approx 16 inches / 40 cm across, 8 inches / 20 cm deep and 6 inches / 15 tall, plus the handle height of 5 inches / 12.5 cm. The handbag is fully useable and very clean inside and out, with only very light signs of gentle use and no flaws or damage, very good condition.
