Vintage 1950s Gold-Tone Metal Powder Compact. A very sweet vintage powder compact, dating to circa 1955. This is a wonderful compact in gold-tone metal, with an engin turned design and black round cartouch on the lid. The compact is designed to take powder cakes, it doesn't have the original puff or powder guard, but the mirror is still there and it's fine. This is a great powder compact, perfect for display or use. The powder compact measures approx 3.5 inches / 8.75 cm across. The powder compact shows only the lightest signs of gentle use and no flaws or damage, good condition.
