Antique Victorian Waxed Wood Jewellery Box. A really sweet antique Victorian wooden jewellery box, dating to circa 1895. This is such a lovely wooden jewellery box, which is lined in gold plush fabric, which is cushioned and beaded on the bottom, with turquoise and red glass beads. Inside the lid is a wooden framed mirror and the lid has two brass retainer chains. This is a wonderful piece of antique furniture, perfect for display and use in your antique chic interior. The box measures approx 4 inches / 10 cm tall and 14 inches / 35 cm across and deep. The box has no key, it has light cosmetic wear to the lid and a small faint mark inside to the plush, but, there are no other flaws or damage and it retains all of its antique charm. Overall very good condition.
