Antique Victorian Hand Painted Lacquered Wood Folding Hand Fan. A very sweet antique folding hand fan, with carved lacquered wood sticks, and a very pretty hand painted floral design, dating to circa 1880. This is a lovely display piece and still fully usable! The sticks are each carved and they, along with the cotton screen, are hand painted with a delightful, typically Victorian pattern of flowers.This beautiful antique fan measures approx 8 inches / 20 cm across, when it is un-folded. Two of the sticks have a small piece missing, but, this is not very noticable and doesn't distract form this charming piece. The fan shows no other flaws or damage, good condition.
