Antique 1920s Beaded Chiffon Art Deco Flapper Dress. This is a stunning English antique beaded flapper dress, dating to circa 1922. This dress just epitomises the roaring twenties and it still carries all the glamour of that period, today. The dress has a black sheer chiffon dress, that's covered in sensational mercury glass beading (slver glass). The beading on the dress picks out a wonderful geometric Art Deco pattern, across the upper half and a fantastic sweeping floral design to the lower half. The dress is cut in that wonderful flattering drop waisted style and the shoulder straps are in wide silk crushed velvet, with the top of the bodice featuring a gathered chiffon detaling. The dress has no underskirt and would need one underneath. This dress is a beautiful display piece and a treasure to wear, so this is the perfect addition to your antique or vintage chic wardrobe or clothing collection. There are bound to be a few missing beads, but i couldn't find any flaws, damage or missing beads, very good condition.

Waist: The dress is a straight style dropping from the bust, so it will fit all waist sizes up to 32 inches / 80 cm.

Length from shoulder to hem: 50 inches / 125 cm.

Fit: Straight, elegant, will suit most shapes!
