Antique Victorian Cream Hand Embroidered Wool Childs Cape. This is a beautiful English antique Victorian childs cape, dating to circa 1860. This is a really lovely antique cape, in cream fine wool, with cream silk hand embroidered flowers, cut-work and scolloped edging. The cape has three parts, the main full length body, which has embroidery along the bottom edge, then a shorter shoulder cape overlay, which is also embroidered and finally a hand embroidered collar. This is a really exquisite piece of antique childrens clothing and it is a wonderful display piece. The cape measures approx 40 inches / 100 cm. This antique cape is in good shape, however, there are a few tiny points of wear and discolouration to the main wool body, but, the hand embroidery is in great condition, overall this item is in solid condition, no damage, good condition.
