Antique 1920s Petit Pointe Evening Bag. This lovely evening bag has a cream silk body lined out with wool and decorated with a beautiful circle of flowers in hand sewn petit pointe. The kiss clasp is made from two tiny globes of pierced metal on a gold tone metal frame and thin chain wrist handle. This is a beautiful piece and would make a wonderful addition to your antique and vintage accessories collection. Evening bag measures approx 6.5 inches / 16.5 cm across and approx 5 inches / 12.5 cm top to bottom excluding handle. The interior has suffered some light staining and there is some light rubbing to the gold tone metal frame. However the front of the bag, in particular the petit pointe work is immaculate. No damage, very good condition.
