Antique Victorian 1840 Silhouette Portrait Painting. This is a lovely English antique Victorian water colour silhouette portrait, dating to circa 1840. This is a lovely little hand painted water colour portrait of a lady in the silhouette style, so popluar during the 18th and 19th centuaries. The portrait is signed with the painters initials, which, i cannot quite make out. This picture was framed or reframed in about 1970 and it has the sales label from when it was framed. There a couple of tiny points of very light wear to the frame, but, overall this is in excellent condition.
