Antique Victorian Childs White Cotton Handmade Cut Work Dress. This lovely Victorian child's dress is made from white cotton and would have been one of a number of layers worn by a small child. It has wonderful lined puffed sleeves and a gathered lace edged neckline. The skirt has a number of tiered panels the final being an scalloped hem line with 5 inches / 12.5 cm of intricate handmade cutwork in swirling leaves and flower design. The dress has a opening at the back secured by a string at the neckline. This is a charming piece and would make a wonderful addition to your antique and vintage clothing collection. Dress measures approx 22 inches / 56 cm around the waist and approx 19 inches / 48 cm from shoulder to skirt hem. The dress has a tiny tear to the gathered waist however this could be easily repair without changing or spoiling the aesthetic of the dress. Very good condition.
