Antique Victorian Childs White Cotton Christening Gown Underskirt. This lovely Victorian child's underskirt made from white cotton was designed to be worn under a long and ornate christening gown. It is sleeveless with a gathered waist and adjustable strings to gather the waist and back. This is a charming piece and would make a wonderful addition to your antique and vintage clothing collection. Dress measures approx 18 inches / 46 cm around the gathered waist and approx 24 inches / 61 cm from waist to hem (designed to be worn under a long flowing gown). The skirt has a small tear 3.5 inches / 9 cm on the back opening down the skirt, however this could be easily repair without changing or spoiling the aesthetic of the dress. Good Condition.
