Retro Vintage 1960s Mad Money Carry All Compact Evening Bag. A very cool American retro carry all compact evening bag, dating to circa 1965. This little carry all is so cool, it has a gold-tone metal body, which has a powder compact on one side, complete with mirror and the original powder puff and guard, designed to take lose powder. On the other side is a compartment for money, with a built in money clip and a (removeable) plastic divider for the coins. On the outside of the carry ll is a clip that will hold your lipstick, so this is perfect for a night on the tiles. The carry all hasa gold-tone metal chain handle, and the front reads:"Mad Money" which is a American saying, which means money for going out with.The carry all measures approx 3.5 inches / 8.75 cm across, 1 inch / 2.5 cm deep and approx 2.5 inches / 6.25 cm tall plus 3 inches / 7.5 cm of handle height. There are light signs of gentle use,with a couple of points of light rubbing to the gold-tone finish on the corners and no damage, overall very good condition.
