Antique 1920s Hand Embroidered Art Deco Tapestry Evening Bag. A beautiful antique hand embroidered tapestry evening bag, dating to circa 1925. This is a charming antique evening bag with a gold-tone metal frame, kiss clasp, chain handle, which togeather with the peach lined interior combine to make a wonderful collectors piece. The body of the bag is hand embroidered with Art Deco flowers, on a beige background. This delightful antique evening bag would make a wonderful addition to your antique and vintage evening bag collection. The bag is a good size and will hold all your essntials for an evening out, it measures approx 7 inches / 17.5 cm across and tall (excluding the handle, which adds a further 6 inches / 15 cm to the height). There are only light signs of gentle use, with a couple of tiny points of rubbing to the gold tone, wear to the piping and some spots of discolouration to lining. Overall good - fair condition.
