Antique 1920s Hand Embroidered Linen Clutch Bag. This lovely little clutch is a simple linen envelope lined in green cotton with a stiffened body. The front the bag is hand embroidered with colourful abstract shapes. The style is distinctly 1920s using the hand made techniques of arts and crafts movement to experiment with art deco style use of shape. This is a very charming little purse and would make a wonderful addition to your antique and vintage handbag collection. Bag is rectangular and measures approx 7.5 inches / 19 cm by 5.5 inches / 14 cm. There is some discolouration to the linen and light wear to embroidered panels and edging due to age and use. There is no damage, good condition.
