Antique 1920s Petite Pointe Jeweled Frame Evening Bag. This is a very sweet little English antique tapestry evening bag, dating to circa 1925. This lovely little evening bag has a hand embroidered petite pointe or tapestry body, featuring scrolls and a bouquet of flowers on a black background. The really spectacular part of this bag is its clasp, which like the frame is in gold-tone metal and is quite orate, featuring marquisit and glass stones. The evening bag has a gold-tone metal chain handle, push ball clasp, and is lined in oyster satin cloth. The bag measures approx 7 inches / 17.5 cm across and 4.5 inches / 11.25 cm tall plus 5 inches / 12.5 cm handle height. This evening bag is a very pretty bag that'll add a touch of vintage charm to any outfit, so it's the perfect addition to your vintage chic wardrobe or bag collection. The bag shows a couple of tiny points of rubbing to the gold-tone finish on the clasp, but, no damage, good condition.
