Antique 1920s Pink Beaded and Rhinestone Silk Flapper Dress. This is a stunning English antique flapper dress dating to circa 1920. This charming antique dress is in dusky pink silk, with hand sewn decoration to the neckline, arm holes and skirt in mercury (silvered) glass beads and diamante rhinestones. The dress has a round neckline, straight cut bodice and skirt, piped dropped waist, no sleeves and scalloped hem. This is a wonderful dress that will add oodles of antique charm to your antique chic or vintage chic wardrobe, and it's the perfect outfit for an evening out or wedding. The dress is very easy to wear and just ouzes style and elegance! The dress is a pull on dress and there is press stud opening to the shoulder and side of the trunk. The dress is in great shape for its age and considering the delicate nature of the cloth. The dress is absolutely structurally sound and can be worn. There are a couple of minor flaws to mention, there is some light wear to the silvering on some of mercury glass beads, owing to their age. There are a couple of tiny pin head size points of discolouration at the waist on the left side front of the dress, but these can only be seen if you look very closely. None of these very minor flaws distract from this truly beautiful antique dress, which displays no damage and is in very good condition.
