Antique Victorian Honey Comb Patchwork Quilt Top. A wonderful English antique hand made and hand quilted patchwork quilt top, dating to circa 1880. This is a lovely old quilt, made up of hundreds of tiny hexagons and squares of printed cotton and wool and was most likely designed for a childs bed. This is a really beautiful piece of antique bed linen and is the perfect piece to add a touch of cosy antique chic to your antique or vintage styled interior or quilt collection. The quilt measures approx 42 inches / 105 cm across and 66 inches / 165 cm long. There are several tiny missing patches, a few small rips to the fabric and slight fading to some of the fabric, but, the quilt is still absolutely structurally sound and can be used or displayed. This would be a great little project to restore and back. Overall good condition, especially considering it's age.
