Antique Edwardian Tapestry Handbag. A really beautiful English antique Edwardian handbag in pretty floral tapestry fabric, dating to circa 1908. The bag is a simple pochette style bag, in cream fabric, covered with very pretty floral motifs and edged in patterned metallic braid, metallic cloth covered button fastening and matching thick metallic cord handle and lined in pink silk. The handbag is designed to hang from your wrist by the twisted cord strap. The bag measures approx 6 inches / 15 cm across and 7 inches / 17.5 cm tall ( excluding the strap, which measures approx 22 inches / 55 cm long. As to condition, this is in spectacular shape, with no signs of use, wear, flaws or damage, it looks like it has been carefully stored and never used. Mint condition - a rare find in such fantastic condition.
