This is a quintessentialy English vintage china cake stand with green edging and a delicately designed English country scene, dating to circa 1938. The handle is made from chrome, with a bakelite finial. This is great cake stand which would look even better piled high with fancy cakes for you and your guests! This would make a wonderful addition to any vintage homeware collection or indeed your vintage chic home. Cake stand is approx 8.5 inches / 22 cm in diameter and the handle stands approx 4 inches / 10 cm tall. There is some light wear to chrome handle, crazing to plate but no damage, good condition.
