Vintage 1950s Pottery Book Bottles. A great pair of vintage pottery spirit bottles in the shape of books. Theses are perfect for hiding in your library for a sly snifter! Both bottles have paper labels on the spine, which read: The New Library, Volume, modern book depot and one bottle reads: Gin and the other Sherry. The bottles have cork lids and little pouring spouts and the Gin book has a black glaze cover and the other is brown. The 'books' measure approx 6 inches / 15 cm tall, 5 inches / 12.5 cm wide and 2 inches / 5 cm thick. The black book has a small chip to the glaze to one corner, but it is still fully useable! No damage or flaws to the other book. Overall very good condition.
