Vintage 1930s Viennese Hand Embroidered Roses Evening Bag. A wonderful Viennese hand embroidered evening bag, dating to circa 1931. This lovely little evening bag carries the original label, which reads: hand made genuine petit point made in Vienna. This vintage evening bag is a superb example of hand embroidery, edged with gold piping. Colourful roses in pinks and yellows a depicted on a black background and held in a gold tone metal frame with chain handle and a clasp that features a very pretty decorative glass stone. The interior is fully lined in black fabric and has a pocket for your compact. This hand embroidered evening bag is a fantastic addition to your vintage chic wardrobe or handbag collection and this is such a pretty piece, that it should be used day and night! The evening bag measures approx 6 inches / 15 cm tall (excluding the handle, which adds a further 4 inches / 10 cm to the height), approx 6 inches / 15.5 cm wide and 2 inches / 5 cm deep. There are small light wear to gold-tone finish conducive with age but no damage. Overall very good condition.
