Vintage 1960s Goonhilly Dish Aerial Souvenir Pin Tray. A very cool English vintage pottery pin tray produced to celebrate the Goonhilly Aerial Dish lauch, dating to circa 1962. This is a wonderful piece of English cultural and TV history. Approx 4 inches / 10 cm across. Rear reads: Goonhilly Dish Aerial situated on the Lizard Peninsula. History was made on 10th July 1962 when the G.P.O. received at Goonhilly the first television pictures from America via Telstar 1. No flaws or damage, excellent condition.
