Retro Vintage 1960s Fan Decorated Whicker Case Style Handbag. A fantastic handbag, in a the form of a small whicker case. This is perfect for all your bits and pieces and it's such a show stopping design, so it's the perfect addition to your vintage chic or retro chic wardrobe or handbag collection. The whicker is white plastic over a wooden frame, the handbags handles and clasp are in pearlized lucite plastic, with gold-tone metal mounts. Inside the hand bag is lined in white plastic, with a zipper pocket along the middle and large compartments each side. The label inside reads: A Gift from Cypress Gardens, Florida. The design on the front is flawless, the fan and floral design has faux pearls, orange diamnate rhinestones, small opalescent flowers, gold fan and pictorial bead or button with image of an ancient Roman maiden (at least, that's what it looks like). All this on a background of gold and white mesh, with a gold lame braid and ribbon frame, under a clear plastic cover. The base as little gold-tone metal feet to stopp the bag getting worn when put down and leather covers to the metal hinges. The hand bag meausres approx 12 inches / 30 cm across, 8 inches / 20 cm tall (excluding the handles, which add another 4 inches / 10 cm to the height) and 4 inches / 10 cm deep. As to condition, this is in fantastic shape, the only point of wear i can find is the white finish to the pieces of leather that cover the hinges on the bottom of the bag shows a little wear. Imaculate inside and out, very good condition, NO damage.
