Vintage 1950s Floral Velour Carpet Handbag. This fantastic 1950s clutch bag is made from soft velvety velour and dates to circa 1959. The handbag has a Gold-tone metal frame, mounts, kiss clasp and fabulous faux tortoise shell Lucite handle. This charming vintage handbag has a soft velour covered body, with a Cream background, featuring flowers in Orange, Pink, Red and Green and it is fully lined in Yellow cotton. This is a fabulous and very usable bag and would make a wonderful addition to your vintage handbag collection or wardrobe. The handbag is a great size for all your bits and pieces and it measures approx 8 inches / 20 cm wide,12 inches / 30 cm tall, excluding the handle, which adds a further 5 inches / 12.5 cm to the height and 3.5 inches / 8.75 cm deep. This charming vintage handbag has rubbing to the Gold-tone finish on the frame and there are some small light pen marks to the lining, but, it is fully useable, clean inside and out and has no other flaws or damage, good condition.
