Antique 1920s Tooled Leather Butterfly Handbag. A wonderful antique handbag dating to circa 1920. This is a divine antique handbag, it has a firm body, in Rich Chocolate whip stitched and embossed leather, with a matching handle and featuring a pair of butterflies tooled onto the front. This charming antique handbag is mainly lined in Brown leather, with three open compartments and a framed and flip clasped compartment, which contains an integral, hinged kiss clasp coin purse, there are two small open pockets and a small matching sovereign purse. This is a great handbag that has so much antique style, so it's the perfect addition to your antique or vintage chic wardrobe or handbag collection. The antique handbag measures approx 6 inches / 15 cm tall (excluding the handle, which adds a further 6 inches / 15 cm to the height) and 9 inches / 22.5 cm across. This delightful antique handbag is fully useable, very clean inside and out, with only a small area of whip stitch missing and light cosmetic distressing to the leather, and no other flaws or damage, very good condition.
