Vintage 1940s Red Cut Steel Beaded Evening Bag. This is a stunning vintage evening bag dating to circa 1947. This impressive evening bag has a body, made up of thousands of tiny Bright Red Cut Steel beads, it also features a matching fully beaded handle and a long flip clasp, which has a Polka Dot design and is edged in Marquisite. The vintage evening bag has a Gold-tone metal frame, kiss clasp and chain handle and is lined in Bright Red Satin, with a mirror pocket and mirror, a lipstick pocket and another open pocket, which is stamped: Made in France. This is a fabulous evening bag, that'll add vintage charm to any outfit, so it's the perfect addition to your antique or vintage wardrobe or evening bag collection. This delightful vintage evening bag is large enough for all your essentials, for an evening on the tiles, even if you carry everything including the kitchen sink, it measures approx 10 inches / 25 cm across and approx 7 inches / 17.5 cm tall (excluding handle, which adds a further 6 inches / 15 cm to the height). This divine vintage evening bag has a little light rubbing to the Red finish on a few of the cut steel beads, it is fully useable, immaculate inside and out, with no other flaws or damage, very good condition.
