Antique Victorian Black Silk Celluloid Diamante Clasp Evening Bag. A beautiful antique Victorian evening bag, dating to circa 1890. This is a charming antique evening bag with a Blacksilk pouch body and handle, with a hidden frame and an ornate Black Celluloid flip clasp, encrusted with diamante rhinestones. This charming antique evening bag is lined in Dove Grey fabric, with a hinged kiss clasp coin purse. This delightful antique evening bag would make a wonderful addition to your antique and vintage evening bag collection. The bag will hold your essentials for an evening out, it measures approx 8 inches / 20 cm across and 5 inches / 12.5 cm tall (excluding the handle, which adds a further 4 inches / 10 cm to the height). This charming antique evening bag has a stone missing from the clasp, there is a tiny, nail head sized hole and repair to the bottom of the bag, a couple of tiny nail head sized maks to the lining and the frame of the integral coin puse has come away from the hinge, although it still opens and closes snugly, despite its flaws it is structurally sound, still useable, with no other flaws or damage, fair condition.
