Antique Edwardian Cream Celluloid Frame Evening Bag. A very sweet little English antique evening bag, dating to circa 1910. This lovely little evening bag has a Cream machine knited body, totally covered with tiny clear glass beads. This charming antique evening bag has a Cream celluloid frame, with a push button clasp, which is topped with a matching celluloid button. This delightful antique evening bag is lined in Turquoise silk, and it has a cord handle, with a large tassel at each side. The bag measures approx 6 inches / 15 cm across tall plus 2 inches / 5 cm handle height. This is a very beautiful bag that'll add a touch of antique charm to any outfit, so it's the perfect addition to your retro or vintage chic wardrobe or bag collection. The bag has a couple of small areaswhere the Turquoise lining is a little worn and has faintly discoloured the outer bag and the cord handle and tassels are not original and look quite recent (1960s at a guess). However, despite these flaws this bag remains charming and fully useable, with no other flaws or damage, fair condition.
