Vintage 1940s Black Crepe Sequined Evening Dress. A divine vintage crepe evening dress, dating to circa 1940. This is a really wonderful vintage evening dress in Black fluid crepe. This charming vintage dress has a very simple and elegant cut, so typical of Fourties couture. The dress has a straight bodice, flaring gently from the lightly fitted waist, skimming the hips, into a lightly flared knee length skirt. The fabric and cut are beautiful and move in a magnificent way when you walk. This delightful vintage dress has a simple round neckline, with short puff sleeves and pin tucking to the bodice. The bodice fornt is decorated with curls of Black sequins and this continues down into a V-Shaped pannel on the skirt front, which is deigned to cuningly add height an distract from the tummy! The vintage evening dress has a hook and eye fastening at the back of the neck and a concealed zipper to the side. This is a stunning piece of vintage clothing and so it's the perfect addition to your vintage inspired wardrobe or clothing collection.
