Antique Victorian Black Silk Celluloid Clasp Evening Bag. A beautiful antique Victorian evening bag, dating to circa 1890. This is a charming antique evening bag with a Blacksilk pouch body and handle, with a hidden frame and an ornate Black Celluloid flip clasp, encrusted with diamante rhinestones. This charming antique evening bag is lined in Dove Grey fabric, with a small gathered pocket. This delightful antique evening bag would make a wonderful addition to your antique and vintage evening bag collection. The bag will hold your essentials for an evening out, it measures approx 8 inches / 20 cm across and 5 inches / 12.5 cm tall (excluding the handle, which adds a further 4 inches / 10 cm to the height). This charming antique evening bag has a few small points where the fabric on the frame has worn through and the lining is side is lightly discoloured, despite its flaws it is structurally sound, still useable, with no other flaws or damage, fair condition.
