Antique 1920s Hand Embroidered Tapestry Evening Bag. A beautiful antique hand embroidered tapestry evening bag, dating to circa 1920. This is a charming antique evening bag with a gold-tone metal frame, kiss clasp, chain handle, which togeather with the peach lined interior combine to make a wonderful collectors piece. The body of the bag is hand embroidered with very pretty flowers, on a beige background. This delightful antique evening bag would make a wonderful addition to your antique and vintage evening bag collection. The bag is a good size and will hold all your essntials for an evening out, it measures approx 7 inches / 17.5 cm across and 5 inches / 12.5 cm tall (excluding the handle, which adds a further 6 inches / 15 cm to the height). This charming antique evening bag has an issue with the frame, which has come away from the hinge on one side, although the bag still opens and closes quite snugly, this needs repair, it is still useable, very clean inside and out, with no other flaws or damage, fair - poor condition.
