Antique Victorian Black Silk Diamante Clasp Evening Bag. A beautiful antique Victorian evening bag, dating to circa 1890. This is a charming antique evening bag with a Blacksilk pouch body and handle, with a hidden frame and Silver-tone metal flip clasp, encrusted with diamante rhinestones. This charming antique evening bag is lined in Cream fabric, with a hinged and kiss clasp integral coin purse. This delightful antique evening bag would make a wonderful addition to your antique and vintage evening bag collection. The bag will hold your essentials for an evening out, it measures approx 7 inches / 17.5 cm across and 5 inches / 12.5 cm tall (excluding the handle, which adds a further 4 inches / 10 cm to the height). This charming antique evening bag has a number of issues, some of the diamante stones are missing from the clasp, there are a few points where the fabric on the frame has worn through, there is a small area of light discolouration to the body of the bag and other signs of wear. despite its flaws it is structurally sound, with no other flaws or damage, poor condition.
