Antique Victorian Large Floral Beaded Evening Bag. A really divine antique evening bag dating to circa 1895. This huge evening bag has a body, made up of Pewter Glass beads, decorated with a fabulous floral design picked out in multi-coloured glass beads. This magnificent antique evening bag has a Silver Plated metal frame, which is decorated with an engin turned design and features a kiss clasp and a chain handle, it is lined in Pink Silk, edged with Gold and Pink braiding. This is such a fabulous evening bag, just right to hold all your essentials for an evening out, even if you carry everything including the kitchen sink, and a beautiful display piece to boot - a rare find in such good condition! So this is the perfect addition to your antique inspired wardrobe or handbag collection. The antique evening bag measures approx 7 inches / 17.5 cm across and 9 inches / 22.5 cm tall plus 4 inches / 10 cm of handle height. This divine antique evening bag has a couple small, nail head sized areas of missing beads at the top near the frame and a small area of rubbing to the silk lining inside, it is fully useable, very clean inside and out and has no other flaws or damage, very good condition.
